30% Tax Incentives
Expert management of all available tax benefits for international productions filming in Lithuania.
In January 2014, Lithuania has introduced new tax incentives that offer up to a 30% rebate on Lithuanian production expenses. These incentives are available to various film formats, including feature films, TV films, documentaries, and animated films, as long as they meet the necessary production and content requirements. Eligible projects range from domestic productions and co-productions to films produced under service agreements. More here https://www.lkc.lt/en/tax-incentives.
The aggregate maximum amount of the donation funds provided can be at most 30% of the production expenses of the film or its part.
At least 80% of Lithuanian production costs must be spent in Lithuania.
Film spending in Lithuania has to be at least 43,443 EUR.
The film cannot be pornographic or promote violence and has to meet cultural content and production criteria.
